Three Nations Cup: Nepal Won 2-1
Kathmandu: Nepal has clinched the title of the ongoing Three Nations Cup in Kathmandu. Nepal took a 2-0 lead in the first half and scored a goal in the second half to give Najita a 2-1 victory. The first goal for Nepal was scored by Sanjog Rai in the 18th minute and the second goal was scored by Vishal Rai in the 41st minute. They are both first-time players in the playing XI.
Nepal has kept up the pressure against the Bangladesh team today. In the first two matches of the Three Nations Cup, Nepal drew 0-0 with Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh. The Bangladeshi player scored in the 81st minute of the match. However, Kyrgyzstan was knocked out of the game after Kyrgyzstan lost to Bangladesh by scoring a suicide goal. Nepal, which drew with both the teams, had secured the final journey on the basis of this facility. Nepal has won such a title on its own ground after 37 years.
