Decision to postpone SEE and Class 12 examinations
The National Examination Board (NEB) has postponed the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) and Class 12 examinations.
According to the information given to Sethopati by the Chairman of the Board Chandra Mani Poudel, the SEE and Class 12 examinations have been postponed till further notice.
The SEE was prepared to be conducted from 13th June and the class 12 examination was scheduled to be held from 26th June.
A meeting of the board held this morning concluded that the number of corona infections is increasing day by day and it cannot be tested in the current situation.
According to Chairman Poudel, there is no preparation for the SEE examination from the internal assessment like last year.
"Once the corona is low, the test will be done. This time, the test will not be done from the internal evaluation like last year," he said.
This time there are more than five lakh students giving SEE.
Last year, the class 12 examination was physically attended by students.
